for the Seneca Nation Mortgage Program First-Time Homebuyer Program

No Land to Build on?
The Seneca Nation has identified land to develop for housing in the City of Salamanca.

The Seneca Nation Council passed a resolution on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, adopting the Seneca Nation City of Salamanca Residential Land Allocation Policy: SNMP First-Time Homebuyer Program for distribution of available lots in the city.

To start, the Council has identified two lots in the city as available to build on. There will be more in the future, and they too will be advertised here in the newsletter when available.

The deadline for this first round to submit a completed Mortgage Program application is Monday, November 30, 2026.

Applications for this program are online at https://sni.org/community-services/mortgage/ or can be picked up at the following locations on either Territory:

  • Seneca Nation Clerk’s offices
  • Seneca Nation Housing Departments
  • The Mortgage Program Offices
