The 2026 President’s Cup took place in Edmonton, Alberta at the Silent Ice Centre. The tournament began on Sunday August 30, 2026, and went through Saturday September 5, 2026. The tournament started with 8 teams split into two pools. Pool A consisted of Edmonton Miners, Ladner Pioneers, Newtown Golden Eagles, Winnipeg Blizzard. Pool B was Snake Island Muskies, Six Nations Rivermen, Rockyview Knights, Fighting Sioux.
The Game Results were as follows:
- Game 1 | August 30, 2026: Newtown Golden Eagles vs. Winnipeg Blizzard. Resulting as NGE win, final score 12-8.

- Game 2 | August 31, 2026: Ladner Pioneers vs. Newtown Golden Eagles. Resulting as NGS win in overtime, final score 10-11.

- Game 3 | September 1, 2026: Edmonton Miners vs. Newtown Golden Eagles. Resulting in Miners win, final score 9-2.

- Game 4 | September 2, 2026 – Quarter Final Game: Newtown Golden Eagles vs. Rockyview Knights. Resulting in NGE win, final score 15-8.

A Message from the Newtown Golden Eagles:
Our season has come to an end. It’s not the outcome we wanted but we played it out with heart and talent. We are still Can-Am Champions, that was an accomplishment to be able to represent in the Presidents Cup. We will come back stronger next season.
