Members of our team traveled to Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, for the National Native American Human Resources Association’s 30th Annual Conference.
For three decades, NNAHRA has supported human resources professionals and Tribal leaders through education, professional development and opportunities to build relationships and share knowledge. With so much of that work centered on strengthening workplaces and the communities they serve, the conference offered a natural space for our team to share more about our work, including our workplace health education program.
Our team hosted a table where we connected with attendees, shared resources and talked about our partnerships with Tribal Human Resource Departments across the country who help us share lung health, wellness, and cancer screening education with employees. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared their own experiences, and signed our pledge to workplace wellness.
Mahalo (thank you) to NNAHRA who made this gathering possible and for all of the aloha extended to our team throughout the past week. We leave Hawaiʻi grateful for the warmth, generosity and connections we experienced, and carry these connections with us into the work ahead.
