“The museum would like to extend a very special “nya:wëh” to the sponsors that made Heritage Day 2022 possible.
This event is always focused on bringing our communities together, to support each other, and to catch up with friends and family. It was great to have participants in all of the dance categories. Seeing the children and elders dance is always especially enjoyable.
The craft vendors presence always remind us that our traditional arts are alive and thriving. And our food and drink vendors keep everyone going throughout the day with delicious tastes.
I encourage anyone reading this that knows any of the sponsors, or an employee of the sponsors, to pass along gratitude for supporting our community events,” Hayden Haynes, Museum Manager.
