Training & Employment Holds HSED Graduation Ceremony
On August 10th, 2022, the Training & Employment Resource Center (TERC) held their annual HSED (high school equivalency) graduation at the Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center Amphitheater at the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum for the graduates of 2022. This year we had 10 graduates for both territories.
Ganö:nyök was recited by Jacob Dowdy. Treasurer Rickey Armstrong and Tina Abrams, Allegany Councillor, both gave a powerful and motivational message to our graduates. The graduates received a certificate of completion from our HSED department as they received their actual diploma in the mail from NYS Education Department. The graduates received gift bags from the Executive and Council offices and Training & Employment. A to-go dinner from Chiavetta’s was provided to the graduates and their families.
