We have a full month ahead of activities in October. We have crafts, our Hocus Pocus Night and a magic act. Don’t forget we will begin our new fall hours the week of September 19th – every Tuesday and Wednesday we will be open till 7pm and open Saturdays 9am – 1pm.
On October 4th and 11th Mike Crouse will be here teaching us the craft of rattle making. Class size is limited to 8 people, 18 years of age and older. Please call to sign up for this two-part class.
Mark your calendar for an afternoon of magic at the Ray Evans Theatre at 2pm where you will be entertained by multiple award winner, Paul Antonio of Buffalo. Following the magic show the chamber of commerce will be showing Paws of Fury, the Legend of Hank. Definitely, a fun day for the whole family.
Hocus Pocus Night is October 26th and it’s going to be so much fun! We have the movie, a game, cookie decorating, scary stories in the haunted room and treats.
We also have a trivia game that starts on October 3rd through the 21st. Stop in and answer Hocus Pocus questions for an entry in the door prize to be given away the night of the party. In addition, the first 25 kiddos get a small pumpkin to take home. Treat bags for ages 0-12 (while supplies last).
Coffee hour is every Thursday from 10am -11am. We are planning to begin a trivia game soon. If you have any ideas to add to our coffee hour please let us know.
Book club is meeting on October 19th this month. We are reading “The Younger Wife” by Sally Hepworth.
Stop in and say hi, get your library card or renew the one you have. You can download the Libby app and have books, audio books in your phone or iPad. We are more than just books.
