Brittany Moore Named General Manager of Nativa Cannabis

Seneca Development, LLC, has named Brittany “Bri” Moore as the General Manager of Nativa Cannabis operations. She has over seven years of cannabis industry experience in Colorado, California, Oklahoma, and Washington, D.C.

Moore made history in 2018 as the co-founder and owner/operator of the first Social Equity Program cannabis dispensary in the world—Blunts & Moore—in Oakland, California. She joined with Oakland governmental officials and community leaders to craft a Social Equity Program where minorities become business owners in the cannabis industry. This is an effort to begin repairing the decades of social and economic damage inflicted on minorities by the “war on drugs.”

Moore has a proven track record of increasing revenue and profitability, developing teams, and elevating company profiles within their target markets. For example, under Moore’s supervision the Blunts & Moore dispensary generated over $5 million in sales within the first year of operation. Within the second year of operation, monthly sales at Blunts & Moore were 70% higher than the California cannabis dispensary average.

Having recently relocated to Buffalo from Washington, D.C., Moore is excited to be joining Nativa Cannabis: “I’m honored to be part of the history that is being created and I’m committed to contributing in ways that are beneficial to the Nation.”

Moore originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia, where she was an Operations Service Associate for ten years at Morgan Stanley and a Payment Services Associate for two years at the Federal Reserve Bank. She studied Business Administration and Management at the University of West Georgia.

Nativa Cannabis is slated to open a 2,500-square-foot dispensary on the Seneca Nation’s Niagara Falls territory in early 2023. Additionally, a 90,000-square-foot cultivation facility is being established on Seneca Nation territory in the Southern Tier.
