We will be planning our second gardening class soon. If you have children or grandchildren who would like to have a garden class, we have discussed planting loofa plants in straw bales for the children to maintain. Please call the library at 716-945-3157 and select ext. 3405 for more information.

The Easter Egg hunt was so much fun! We had forty-eight kiddos hunting for eggs, decorating cookies, coloring, and playing pin the tail on the bunny! Thank you to the Friends of the Library for their help and Sue Grey.

Mike Morton was here on the 6th with his baby animals and we really enjoyed hearing about his farm. As a reminder Chelsy Torgalski will join us for coffee hour from Alzheimer’s Association discussing the signs of Alzheimer’s Disease and what is considered aging on April 20th. Sierra Parker will be here on April 22nd teaching us how to make a wreath. Class begins at 9:30am to 12:30pm. We are limited to ten people, please call to register, 716-945-3157 ext. 3405.

Book club is meeting April 26th at 5pm, we are reading a novel by Colleen Hoover, “Heart Bones”. Moving, passionate, and unforgettable, Colleen Hoover’s novel follows two young adults from completely different backgrounds embarking on a tentative romance, unaware of the what the future holds. If you want to join our book club call 716-945-3157 (ext.) 3405 or come to our next meeting.

Coffee hour is every Thursday from 10-11am!

On May 6th at 1 pm – 2pm, children’s author, Fred Popeski who will read his book, “Oscar and Sarah” copies will be available for purchase. A reminder of our new hours, we are open Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. On the remaining days, Monday, Thursday, & Friday, we are open 8am-5pm. To reach library staff when calling dial 716-945-3157 extension 3402 when prompted.

Come in to renew your library card or apply for one. Find that novel you’ve wanted to read, or the latest DVD on your list. You can also come in to read the paper & enjoy a cup of coffee. We are so much more than a library. See you soon!
