Jace Sowden, Onöndowa’ga:’ of the Snipe clan, has been offered a Coaching position as an offensive coordinator for Team Ontario’s U17 Boy’s Field Lacrosse. Jace is the son of Renee (Cook) and Torrey Sowden and the Grandson of Alice Curry-Cook.
The 2023 Field Nationals – Alumni Cup, August 31 – September 3, 2023, hosted in Prince Edward Island. This year, the Lacrosse Canada Alumni Cup had ten competitors: Alberta, British Columbia, First Nations, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan and Quebec. Team Ontario went undefeated throughout the tournament and battled it out with British Columbia in the gold round. Team Ontario won in O.T. 9-8.
