Ja:göh to the Western Door volleyball team, who won the gold medal in the women’s division of the Master’s Indigenous Games in Ottawa, ON which took place August 24-27, 2023. The team came back from 4th place after pool play to finish 1st out of 14 teams. The team consisted of Onöndowa’ga:’ players Brittnee Jonathan, Helena Hill, Lindsay John, Adalia Plain, Hunter White, CJ Sawatis, along with Val Bova and Stephanie McGrath from the Mohawk Territory.
