POST: “Yanenowi at the UN Global Indigenous Youth Forum in Rome-representing the Seneca Nation, Cornell, NCAI Youth Commission, Logans today and ancestors going back generations; leading the way for Native youth–when Nichols turned her down for private school (we couldn’t afford it anyway) and her dream crusher high school guidance counselor told her she couldn’t get into Cornell, not to apply early decision and suggested she apply to a SUNY.

This is for all the youth who were told they couldn’t, didn’t qualify, and to aim lower.

Dream Big, Work Hard, may your Passions & Convictions guide the work you do to move Indigenous issues & peoples forward!!”
