The 20th Annual ILPC & TICA Indigenous Law Conference was held November 9-10, 2023 in East Lansing, MI at Michigan State University College of Law.
The two-day conference, co-hosted by MSU’s Indigenous Law & Policy Center and the Tribal In-House Counsel Association at MSU, featured six panels, a keynote by Doreen McPaul, and 24 speakers. We also had great attendance at two evening receptions for presenters and attendees, and our MSU NALSA hosted a roundtable chat with Tribal attorneys to learn about careers in the field.
Rory shared: “It was a wonderful and impactful few days at the Indigenous Law Conference co-hosted by the MSU Indigenous Law & Policy Center and the Tribal In-House Counsel Association. I was proud to moderate the Professionalism Panel with panelists Virjinya Torrez, TJ McReynolds, and Harrison Rice.
An added icing on the cake was seeing Max and Aly (Lee Redeye & Alyana Jimerson) — two rockstar Seneca attorneys.” (Pictured above)
