Work is soon to begin on the Red House Bridge replacement project. Old Bridge, as it’s fondly known, has been in a deteriorating state for some time and must be replaced for safety and practicality. Old Bridge is a remnant of our recent past and part of the history of the Allegany Territory; this year’s Remember the Removal Walk was dedicated to the Old Bridge to respect our heritage and reflect on time gone by.
Please note that there will be construction traffic on Route 417, and that Old Road is closed. Stay tuned for construction updates as the project progresses.
