Presenter: Alan Gutchess, Director of the Fort Pitt Museum in Pittsburgh, PA
Subject: Yellow Creek Massacre and Logan’s War which occurred outside of Pittsburgh
John Logan was a Cayuga Indian Leader. This meeting will be of interest to any Logan descendants like myself. Saul Logan is my ancestor. His daughter, Lulu Logan is my second great grandmother. Saul Logan was a War of 1812 veteran. They lived on the Cattaraugus Territory. Saul was married to Mary Tallchief and they had several children.
Please bring a dish to pass to our monthly meeting. Tableware and beverages will be provided.
