Here’s a look at 10 high school girls lacrosse players to watch entering the 2024 season, listed in no particular order, led by seven Division I commits, with most having been named to the Coaches All-Western New York first team in spring 2023.

- Jacella Nephew, daughter of Bethany & Justin Nephew, attends Lake Shore High School. Jacella Nephew, Lake Shore, attack, 12: Had 95 points with 50 goals and 35 assists last season. Nephew had 75 shots on goal and led Lake Shore to the Section VI Class C championship. She will continue her career at Youngstown State.
- Gracie Williams, daughter of Sheri and John Wayne Williams, attends Silver Creek High School and plays for Lake Shore High School. Gracie Williams, Lake Shore/Silver Creek, midfield, 11: Finished the season with 84 goals and 25 assists for 109 points for the high-scoring Class C champions. Also recorded her 100th career goal. She is a St. Bonaventure commit.
- Ava Tallchief, daughter of Emily and Benji Tallchief, attends Lake Shore High School. Ava Tallchief, Lake Shore/Silver Creek, midfield, 12: Had 121 points (tied for fourth in Section VI), with 74 goals (fifth in Section VI) and 47 assists to be named U.S Lacrosse All-American. Leader of a team that started the season 19-0 and won the Class C sectional championship as the No. 6 seed.
