EDISON, N.J. – Niagara women’s lacrosse graduate attack Lois Garlow (Onöndowa’ga, Nöganya’göh clan) has been named MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday, April 15th.
Garlow had a monster week for the Purple and White, racking up 16 points with eight goals and eight assists, to earn her second MAAC weekly award of the season.
In Wednesday’s win over Iona, the attack became the first Purple Eagle in five seasons to record nine points in a single game, tallying four goals and four assists. She then scored four goals and added three assists while adding three caused turnovers and two ground balls. Garlow currently has 69 points on the season, trailing only Rachel MacCheyne for the program’s single season record of 75. The Cattaraugus Reservation product is second in the MAAC in total points and 18th in the country.
Lois is a Graduate Student Majoring in Criminal Justice, and the daughter of Cheri Nash & Heath Garlow.
