Ja:göh Lucille Jimerson and Timothy Williams, both seniors at Silver Creek High School, for receiving the prestigious New York State Seal of Biliteracy and being the first ever to receive the distinction for Onöndowa’ga:’ Gawë:nö’ (Seneca Language)!!
“Five Silver Creek students have received the prestigious Seal of Biliteracy, two of which are the first ever to receive the distinction for the Seneca language! Timothy Williams and Lucille Jimerson received the New York State Seal of Biliteracy (NYSSB) for Seneca. Jorge Hasbún, Emily Bowers and Rachael Beadle were awarded the NYSSB in Spanish.
