Last month, HNL Director of Women’s Lacrosse Ops & Board Member, Claudia Jimerson, Cayuga/Seneca, Bear clan of the Cattaraugus Territory, presented at the 2024 Global Sport University Network as part of an all-Indigenous panel discussing the future of Indigenous sport, International rights movements including the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and guiding University strategic plans to support Indigenous reconciliation through sport.
