What is SNVR?

Seneca Nation Vocational Rehabilitation (SNVR) Is a program designed to assist enrolled Native American Individuals with disabilities In preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining employment.

It offers a range of services and support to help individuals achieve their employment goals and become active, contributing members of their communities.

The program takes a holistic approach to supporting Individuals with disabilities, recognizing that success in the workforce often requires addressing various barriers and challenges.

The goal of SNVR is to empower Individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals and to become self-sufficient members of their communities.

  • Vocational Rehabilitation counseling and guidance
  • Referrals
  • Vocational and other training services including books, tools, etc.
  • Transportation
  • Interpreter services for hearing impaired
  • Transition services for students with disabilities (ages 14-24)
  • Traditional healing
  • Services to the family necessary to assist the individual with a disability
  • Culturally relevant classes and information
  • Rehabilitation services for the visually impaired
