In a regular session of Seneca Nation Council, Tyrone Bowen-Collateta was recognized by President J.C. Seneca and Council for his role in collaboration with SNI Chief of Staff, Kerry John, SNI Councilors Josh Becker, Christian Reiller and UPB Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreational Sports, Bret Butler, in implementing the UPB Men’s Lacrosse program.
Tyrone, Onöndowa’ga, Hojoni’ga:’, is a second semester junior, UPB Men’s Lacrosse team Captain, Health & Education – Major with a Minor in Exercise Science. Tyrone was also selected for Academic All-Conference for AMCC, Peak Performer for a 3.5 GPA or higher which led him to be inducted into the National Student Athlete Honor Society. Tyrone will also be attending the first-ever Native Student-Athlete Summit, from June 4-5, 2025 in Indianapolis, IN.
