Salamanca Elementary 4th Grade Leaders and the Native American Curriculum Team visited the
Seneca Nation Gakwi:yo:h Farms
During the visit, they toured the farm, met the incredible staff, observed and sampled the honey harvest, picked late-season blackberries, explored the maple syrup-making equipment, and ended the day by braiding hehgo:wah. Nya:wëh to the Gakwi:yo:h Farms team for sharing their knowledge. We always love bringing our students to visit.
