Rochester Knighthawks Home Opener Victory

The Knighthawks are starting this season off with a bang! Adding another win this season, the Knighthawks defeated the Philadelphia Wings 15-11 on December 20th to a full house. They won against the San Diego Seals the week prior 15-7.

Seneca Nation President and First Lady Nicole Seneca were greeted players during half time and cheered on their victory. Councillors Jonathan Williams and Todd Gates were on hand for the ceremonial ball drop to start the game. Free tickets and a bus ride was offered to Seneca Nation members. Iroquois Post 1587 Commander Ron Cook raised the flags for veterans. Gaëni:yo’s Singers & Dancers performed in the opening ceremony showcasing Seneca culture and traditions.
