Do You Need a Smoke Alarm/Carbon Monoxide Detector?

Seneca Nation Emergency Management Is pleased to announce its participation in the Johns Hopkins Smoke Alarm Project

The Smoke Alarm Project is a FEMA sponsored initiative led by the Johns Hopkins Center for Injury Research and Policy, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health and local tribal health organizations.

The project works alongside tribal communities in order to reduce fire injury and the risk of fire. Through this project, smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detector (combos) are provided free of charge to partnered tribal communities and installed by a trained in-home educator .
