Onöndowa’ga, Gojoni’ga, Ga’dägësgëö Territory. Lani was presented with a ball signed by various tribal leaders to represent the significance and impact of Native American athletes competing at this level, from Tohono O’odham Nation and Pascua Yaqui Tribe.
Lani is a University of Arizona Graduate student. She is a Guard (#4) on the Arizona Women’s Basketball team where she ranks second (2nd) in the BIG 12 and fifth (5th) in the nation.
