The official results of the Seneca Nation constitutional amendment referendum are now available courtesy of the Seneca Nation Clerk’s Office. Below is a detailed summary of the vote outcomes on each referendum question. Thank you to all who participated in this important process.
We, the undersigned Board of Inspectors, do hereby certify that we conducted the referendum vote of the Seneca Nation held on March 24, 2026. At the Seneca Allegany Firehall on the Allegany Territory and at the Seneca Fire on the Cattaraugus Territory, to amend section of the constitution of the Seneca Nation, and that the following is a true and official count of the votes cast:
Referendum Question 1
The Surrogates court shall be comprised of three judges each, any one of whom shall have the power to hold Court and discharge all of the duties of the surrogates’ court.
