Sophomore standout Paloma Haas is rewriting Salamanca history!
The Salamanca Warriors dominated with a 101-29 win over West Valley and an incredible 30 personal best performances—but the highlight of the night belonged to Haas. Paloma claimed double victories in BOTH shot put and discus. Set a NEW school record in shot put with a throw of 34’ 03”. Broke a 25-year-old record previously held since 2001.
After already hitting 30 feet at the Frostbite Relay, Paloma took things to another level—proving that hard work and determination pay off! Coach Laurie Lafferty-John summed it up best: “She is one of the most deserving kids you will ever meet… a great leader with a heart of gold. It’s going to be exciting watching her continue to reach new goals.”
The future is bright for this rising star!
