This summer, we were grateful to welcome Lylla Schindler, a Seneca Nation Wolf Clan member from the Cattaraugus Reservation, to the Rematriation team as an intern.
As a senior at Syracuse University studying Public Policy, Law, and Native American Studies, Lylla brought her passion for Indigenous community, leadership, and advocacy into her work with us.
As her time with Rematriation came to a close, we asked Lylla what this experience has meant to her and what she will carry forward.
