Seneca Youth Dancers at 57th Annual NIEA Convention & Trade Show

The Seneca Youth Dancers lit up the stage during the National Indian Education Association Convention and Trade Show. All members are students at the Salamanca City Central School District ranging from grades K-12. Not only do they perform locally but nationally as well. The Salamanca City Central School District funds field trips and travel for these students to educate their peers about their culture and traditions. They also get to showcase their amazing talents as dancers and singers. Many members also dance in competitions, powwows, and singing contests. They are already champions and professionals. Coordinators Aaron Miller, Chandler Cooper, Hilton Johnny-John, and Halsey Jimerson keep the crowd engaged with education of Seneca songs, culture and dances. The Seneca Youth Dancers is open to all students in the Salamanca district. See flyer on the back cover for more information.
