Ganondagan Hodinöhsö:ni’ Juried Art Show Open for Entries

Third Annual Event Offers $17,500 in Cash Prizes

The show committee will accept digital images of the artworks up until Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Artists will be notified that week if their submissions have been accepted. Accepted artworks will be exhibited at the Seneca Art & Culture Center during the Native American Winter Arts Festival December 3, 2022 for $17,500 in cash prizes, exhibition and purchase.

Six entry divisions are:
• Beadwork, Basketry, Traditional Arts, Fine Art 2-D, Fine Art 3-D, Photography

The $2,500 Best of Show Award will be given to one piece of artwork chosen by the jurors. Each division will have a First Prize of $1,250, Second Prize of $750, and Third Prize of $500. Each artist can submit up to three entries; each submission has a $10 entry fee. Each submission must have been created within the last two years. All pieces must be available for purchase and Ganondagan will have right of first refusal.

Artists need to deliver their work by Tuesday, November 29, 2022 for installation and judging. Awards will be presented an opening reception, Friday, December 2, 2022; artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception.
