In 2012 he attended Wildlife Basic Law Enforcement Training and was first stationed in (Dare County) Outer Banks, North Carolina. Throughout Clayton’s career he has received numerous certifications including his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate, Specialized Driving/Boat Instructor and Nationally Certified Field Sobriety Test Instructor. He also teaches several different blocks of instruction at the Wildlife Officer Training Academy as well as other agencies throughout the state.

Clayton is actively involved in his community and routinely volunteers for several charity events. He looks forward to leading his fellow Officers into the future and continue to make an impact to those around him.
