Ja:göh Dylan Snow, Jarmani Benton, Silas Johnathan, Colton Logan and the Onondaga Lazers Men’s Lacrosse team. They defeated the Genesee Community College Cougars, 23-12, last Saturday, May 6th, earning a spot in the 2023 NJCAA Lacrosse Men’s Championship Semi-finals.
They clinched the Region III North A District Championship defeating Hudson Valley, 33-6, which advanced them to the National Tournament. In that game Dylan scored unassisted in the first and third periods for 2 goals. Silas scored unassisted in the second and assisted in the third for 2 goals. Silas was named to the 2023 All-Region Team: 1st team, and Jarmani Benton to 2nd team for the Onondaga Lazers.
Next up, the Lazers are headed to Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland this weekend for the semi-final round of the tournament. Onondaga enters the Final Four as the No. 3 seed and will likely face the No. 2 Nassau Lions this Saturday, May 13th.
