For the month of April, Kiwanis recognized a 3rd grader as our TERRIFIC kid. Cayelle John from Ms. Klusek’s classroom was nominated for her take charge attitude when it comes to helping out.
During snack time for Prospect’s power hour program, Cayelle noticed that there was a lot of food and wrappers on the floor. She asked if she could get a broom and dustpan to help clean it all up. Then on another day during art class, she noticed a pile of pencil shavings on the floor. Again, without being asked, she began to clean them up. On each occasion, Cayelle demonstrated her thoughtfulness and leadership as she went above and beyond to clean up shared spaces.
Ms. Casey Cutting, Prospect’s Art Teacher, stated she is so proud of her initiative and drive. Keep up the amazing work, Cayelle!
