Ja:goh Kate Kennedy, Onöndowa’ga, Gohswë’gai:yo’, Ganesdä’ge:gwa:h community, who was selected as a Winter Season All-WNY Scholar Athletes for Lake Shore Central Basketball.
The 2025-2026 All-Western New York (WNY) Scholar-Athlete program recognizes senior student-athletes from Section VI (public and private schools) who maintain a 90+ GPA for six+ semesters while starting or playing a significant role in their sport. Over 100 schools participate, with 100s of winners and honorable mentions announced for fall, winter, and spring seasons.
The chosen student-athletes have shown incredible dedication, balancing their intense training schedules with top-tier academic performance. Seeing students excel at such a high level in both their sport and their studies is a great reflection of the hard work they put in every single day.
Kate is the daughter of Kerry & Scott Kennedy.
