Over the years we’ve had a wide range of presentations ranging from interactive language games with movement, TPR, card/board games. There have been demonstrations using storytelling, song and dance, how to create speaking communities, animated ganö:nyök, and teaching linguistics without teaching linguistics. There were presentations featuring prop use, literacy, and how to start a community meal featuring language use.
This year we have presentations about critical thinking in language revitalization, how to make use of the Seneca Bases book, language and theater/play, and use of board games for everyday usage in immersion classes. More to come, including keynote speakers.
Your registration fee helps cover our food costs to provide you with two hot meals per day. Door prizes, swag bags, and lots of good conversations with one another. Be sure to sign up.
