Remember the Removal – CATERING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Scope of Work:
RTR Committee is currently accepting bid proposals for Corn Soup and Fry Bread. We are looking for 2 hulled corn soup makers and 2 Fry Bread makers to provide and deliver ready made food products.

Two (2) vendors will provide the following:

  • White Hull Corn Soup – 2 canners (50 – 12 oz. bowls per canner)
  • Fry Bread – 200 (3-inch size breads)
  • Total of 4 canners to feed 300 guests and 400 Fry Breads.

Please email Bid Proposal by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The RTR Committee will review proposals and contact chosen vendors Friday, August 28, 2026.

  • Thursday, September 17, 2026: RTR Social hosted by Seneca Youth Dancers, 5–7:30pm
  • Wednesday, September 23, 2026: Seneca Nation Library presents “History of RTR” by Becky Bowen, 6pm
  • Saturday, September 26, 2026: Remember the Removal Commemoration, Steamburg Community Center, 10am (specific times to appear in next issue)
