So many people have said, “I want to be a better person/good person.” The Bible says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Behaving ourselves and doing good deeds won’t do any good on Judgment Day. Repent (turn away) from sin and trust the Savior. Live a good life not to bribe the Lord or impress anyone, but out of thankfulness for what Jesus has done for us.
