On June 29, the Cattaraugus Community Center, Roswell Park’s Department of Indigenous Cancer Health, and the EDDY Bus (Early Detection Driven to You) partnered to host the first annual Göishä’geh (My Breath) Lung Wellness 5K Run & Walk.
The event celebrated the gift of breath and movement while honoring Indigenous relatives affected by lung cancer, including those diagnosed, survivors, and caregivers. Nya:wëh to everyone who attended and helped make the event a tremendous success.
